The recent experience of the 2022 Meeting of the National Presidents of Africa and the Middle East in Kigali left us with good memories; we experienced magical moments, but it seemed to us very short to make you discover the human, economic and cultural wealth of the country of the thousand hills.
So we give you this next appointment in 2024, in Kigali, which will be your hub to meet in a JCI atmosphere and connect, make good decisions together for the future of our movement, develop your skills and team, and exchange on your different projects from the four corners of our zone and the world and to value the knowhow of the Jaycees in their respective communities through the commitment of the Jaycees in action.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to the 2024 JCI Africa and Middle East Conference (AMEC) in Kigali, Rwanda, from May 22nd to May 25th. As the 2024 JCI Executive Vice President assigned to Africa and the Middle East and Conference Chair, it is an honor to host you all under the theme “Building Tomorrow’s Leaders.”
AMEC serves as a beacon of inspiration and opportunity, bringing together youth leaders, change-makers, and partners from across Africa and the Middle East to embark on a collective journey towards a brighter future. This year, as we convene at the renowned Kigali Convention Centre, we are poised to explore innovative solutions, foster meaningful collaborations, and empower the next generation of visionary leaders.

It is with great pleasure that I would like to welcome you all to our beautiful country, Rwanda.
For over a year, JCI Rwanda leadership, its members and the senate have been working hard together with our partners to ensure that we welcome the 2024 Africa and Middle East Conference to our home Rwanda, this with a hope to forge more synergies and inspire
leaders from Africa and the Middle East with our own story as a country.
To us, this is a moment of joy and happiness as we present to you our country’s beautiful hills, present to you the growing infrastructure of our nation which has made Rwanda, Africa’s best destination to host international meetings and events, as well as a compelling program of which we hope the incoming National Presidents can continue to foster impact needed in their respective countries, particularly now in these unprecedented times we are facing in the world.
