About The Conference

The JCI AFRICA AND THE MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE is an annual event that unites around 500 young, active citizens from Africa, the Middle East, and other continents. We are convinced that individuals started the most positive impacts in the world. The conference brings together leaders, entrepreneurs, partners, and stakeholders worldwide to put together positive energies and intelligence while volunteering to create positive change in our respective communities and the world at large. This will be an opportunity for each delegate attending AMEC in Rwanda in 2024 to participate in inspiring, business and networking sessions and attend empowering training and workshops. All the delegates will also have fun and joyful moments while in Rwanda and experience the cultural heritage of the land of a thousand hills.

Rwanda is a small, land-locked country located in East Africa. Bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda has a population of about 12.5 million people. Conference Venue

The Kigali Convention Centre

The Kigali Convention Centre (KCC) The Kigali Convention Centre is the main venue for the AMEC 2024. The Centre is a premium facility for regional and international conferences, conventions, exhibitions, festivals, and cultural events. Standing alongside the adjoining 5-star, 292-room Radisson Blu Hotel, it is the most iconic and up-to-date convention Centre in Africa. Architecturally modelled after a traditional Rwandan King’s Palace, with a large dome as the main architectural feature, the KCC contains facilities to support both business and leisure. The KCC spans over 32,000 m2 of net floor space and has a customizable exhibition area with 17 versatile meeting rooms.

  • A state-of-the-art auditorium which can host up to 3,000 delegates, and the entire facility can host up to 4,500 delegates
